HR workers of r/indonesia: Why are graphic/projective and Kraeplin-Pauli tests so common in selection/recruitment process in Indonesia?

As a psy student I was 'forced' to study these tests last semester. Logiciel votre pc prend la parole telecharger gratuit. These tests aren't valid at all. The drawing tests (HTP, BAUM, DAP, Wartegg) are archaic. They rooted back in the 1900s and are completely subjective. They're just another Rorschach, but at least Rorschach has some fancy coding system and statistical analysis behind it.

Kraeplin-Pauli is supposed to measure your persistence in working under pressure. But how could you generalise every work with simple calculations? Some people might be a bit slow with numbers while a friend of mine could finish an entire paper and taking an extra one (yeah I'm jelly). A Google search on both Pauli and Kraeplin gives you zero credible source (mostly Indonesian blogs) about them. We were never taught anything about the history and theories behind them btw. There is no Wikipedia page on both test. They seem forgotten outside Indonesia.

Why are these tests so common? Have they become some sort of HRD culture? Why isn't there any change? I got tested myself when I applied for an internship last week and I can't express just how stupid I think these tests are. Considering this might be my career after graduation, I might have to come into terms with the use of these tests. Sorry if this might be some kind of a rant. Now, HR workers of r/indonesia please enlighten me.
